Absorption e1745933644498
Absorption Cooling System

A standard absorption cooling cycle involves the generator where the driving heat is input to volatilize the refrigerant and the condenser where the refrigerant is liquefied at high pressure and heat is transferred. The refrigerant is then passed through a throttling valve to reduce the pressure into the evaporator where heat is absorbed from the surroundings and the liquid refrigerant is evaporated.

Thermoelectric Cooling System

Thermoelectric cooling systems rely on electricity flowing through two different types of conductors – such as different types of metal like copper or zinc. When DC voltage is applied and direct current runs from one conductor to the other, there’s a change in temperature where the two conductors join. When this small thermoelectric effect is multiplied by creating junctions between two ceramic plates, a cooling effect strong enough to keep appliances and computers cool is created.

Compressor Cooling System

The refrigerator compressor is both a motor and a pump that moves the refrigerant inside the system . The compressor compresses the low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant gas it receives from the evaporator. A refrigerator compressor works directly with the condenser, evaporator coil and expansion valve.
